IRA 30%
Tax Credit*
The Federal Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) provides at minimum, a 30% tax credit for your solar pavilion investment. This is a true credit on your taxes’ bottom line, not an income deduction.
Targeted Zones are special instances where the IRA tax credit can increase to 40% or higher. These include federally-designated economic and ecologically-targeted areas.

Wisconsin Focus on Energy Rebate & Utility Net Metering
In Wisconsin, Focus on Energy provides rebates for initial residential and commercial solar energy installations. If you’re in another state there still may be incentives available.
Utility Net Metering is the term for a credit offered by utility companies to compensate you for any electricity production that goes back onto the grid from your solar array. Different utility companies have different policies regarding net metering so be sure to ask your installer or Couillard Canopies Partner about your utility companies polices.
