Innovative, Patent Pending Design

The CSF Solar Canopy helps keep visitors dry with it’s innovative ladder system.  Specially designed channels and a “rain bar” capture and route rain away from the canopy footprint.

CSF Solar Canopies utilize bifacial solar modules (aka “panels”) which can capture additional light from the back side. The additional air flow helps keep modules cool which aids in efficiency on hot and sunny days.

CSF Solar Canopies utilize beautiful timber frame construction to create a wonderful space that has a touch of dappled light on a sunny day. Systems can be configured in a wide ranges of sizes depending on use case.

Early in 2024 the Couillard Solar Foundation was awarded a $50,000 Solar Prize from the US Department of Energy to assist with the development of the CSF Solar Canopy, and an additional $25,000 to help us provide projects to those with a diversity focus!
